what is the clonking from the rear of my bmw 316?

i have an intermittent clonking from the rear of my bmw 316. brakes/discs are all new and exhaust is fine. any ideas

Rear suspension bush....the lower one is often the culprit on these. Not a particularly bad fix, but I would recommend a Beemer specialist who will have seen it all before. Saves replacing bits unnecessarily.
