Dryer will not start at all, power is getting to the terminal?

I have a Maytag Electric Dryer #PYE2300AYW. It stopped working all together. I checked the back and found that the power wires had fused to teh terminal as though there was a power surge or a short. The red wire (on the bottom of the terminal coming from the dryer to the terminal had boken (weakended by the heat). I replaced the terminal and reconnected the power. Nothing happens when it is turned on. I have validated that the power is getting tothe terminal, but, I am not sure what else to check. The scomatic shows several non-tripping type fuses. I suspect that might be the culpret. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

Use a putty knife and stick it in between the top and front panel to release the 2 clips that hold down the top panel. Once the top panel is off you will see and can test the thermal fuse.
