excessive smoke from flue?

I have just installed a new pump on my 8year old Grant Eoroflame boiler (50-70) and now the chimney/flue is emmiting large amounts of black smoke. No amount of adjusting seems to cure the problem. Help please.

You need to set the pump pressure to the manufacturers recommendation....this can only be done using a pressure gauge as the requirement could be anything from 110 psi up to 150 psi. After that, ideally a smoke test followed by a flue gas analysis is necessary.
