how can I fix my oil fired riello boiler?

my oil fired firebird riello rdb range switches on ok but does not fire up. what might the problem be and what do I need to do to fix it?

try replacing the photocell or the solonoid

The simple answer is how long is a piece of string....but the Riello is notorious for solenoid coil failure...this is the device that switches the oil on after your burner has been running for 10 sec. There are numerous other possibilities though - I'd call an OFTEC man in rather than faff about with it.
Presumably you've pressed the lockout lamp button to give it another chance?
