eletric copper boilers?

i have a old electric copper boiler for my hot water. it is now not heating up what can i do i think the element or a lose wire has gone on it.

check if there is 230/240 volts at the input to the thermostat, check there is 230/240 volts to the element. if there is only voltage to one side of the stat then the stat needs replacing otherwise change the immersion heater.
