Fisher paykel washer and dryer ?

I have an Ecosmart GWL15 washer and a Smartload DGGX1US dryer. An electrician blew the outlet and crossed some wires. Now I get no power. When I try to get parts, I can't find anyone, and if they come out to repair, they charge a lot, and say they can't do a diagnostic until after changing out the 'boards'. More may be damaged, and more parts needed. Right now it is over $700 estimate!
My husband could install new boards, but is there a reset button or a fuse? Or do I need to have new boards put in? Where could I get the parts with no service. (Just 2 months out of warranty!)
I loved these machines!

Several points to ponder. 1.If the electrician crossed the wires & blew the boards in the machine it is his responsibility to pay for the damage. he should have liability insurance for that sort of thing. Make a claim on him. 2. Where you can buy the parts from depends on where you live - what country & town. 3. Cost of getting an experienced person varies a great deal. Calling out an "approved F&P Tech" will yes cost you an arm & a leg. Phone around and ask some other service companies how much they charge. You may be pleasently suprised!! 4. $700 & climbing. Wow! That sounds excessive.
