I need to put R134a refridgerant in my fridge?

I have a foster fridge.
It keeps running out of R134a gas, every 6mths.
I want to know how to get the gas and do it myself.
Please help???

because the guy is cash in hand.
And spends 10 mins to fill up gas, so if i could do it then would save me a few hundred pounds!!!

That makes as much sense as having a car tyre that keeps losing air and instead of fixing the air leak you decide to keep pumping up the tyre. Why don't you get the person who took your cash on previous occasions to come back & do the job properly i.e. find & fix the gas leak before refilling it. Surely you asked him for a warranty period on his work at the time.
