Zanussi Tumble Dryer TDS382W?

I have Zanussi Tumble Dryer TDS383W. It is not drying clothes at all. The heater is not working. One of the thermostat on the heater looks faulty. That is the which is connected by black wires and has green dot on it. I tested and it is not apping the current. How can I fix it. Do I to replace the heater or can I replace the thermostat.Thank

the way to test any heater is to measure its resistance when not plugged in.

a broken heater will almost certainly be open circuit.

a functioning heater will have a resistance of about 10-100 ohms. depending on power and voltage

the thermostat should be short circuit when cold and open circuit when hot. try a fan heater or hair dryer to get it hot
