WORCESTER 24 SI II SERIES BREATHER TUBE?

I have a breather tube at the bottom right hand corner of the boiler, it seems to be dripping water, not pouring out but needs a cup or the like under it. This has only happened since we put a new radiator in our bathroom. Is it related to the Relief valve or Relief valve discharge? This has been a pretty reliable boiler and relatively problem free. Can you help please?

HI - Me again - you could try giving it a quick flick/twist to re-seat it - it sometimes works - be prepared for some VERY HOT water

Hi - What has probably happened is the PRV was released to de-presurise the system, normal practice, to fit new rad. - it has now got some crud under the rubber washer - you should not tamper with this valve as it is a safety device BUT it can be removed and taken apart and cleaned IF you know what you are doing - IF IN DOUBT get some professional help
