I have a Fisher and Paykel Smartdrive 603 washing machine that will only fill with cold water at a dribble. The hot water seems OK but the only way I can get through a cycle is by bucket or garden hose filling the machine during the wash and rinse cycles. There is no water during the spin cycles. (And yes, the cold water tap is on.)

Whoops, I meant to reply some time ago. New cold water inlet valve purchased and installed and has worked a treat. The swearing has now ceased ;-).

Quite a common fault. Buy & instal a new inlet valve to replace the cold inlet valve you have in there.
