Fault code 9 means that the machine controller is receiving a message that water is still flowing in to the machine after the full level has been reached & the inlet valve is switched off. Can be caused by a faulty inlet valve not shutting completely off but can also be caused by a fault on the control board which you would not be able to repair. Try cancelling the error by pressing & holding the start button for several seconds. That will remove it from memory. If it comes back then 1st thing to do would be replace the inlet valve & erase the memory again. Then hope that it does not return because next step is replacing the control board.
