Hi

my washing machine is a Zanussi Aquacycle 1200. after washing with washing powder tablets and fabric conditioner, the clothes smell bad, not fresh, like they have been left wet for days. anyone got any ideas before I call out a service repair person? Many thanks, H

I tried this a few months back and it worked,washing machine powder contains active ingredients which can go mouldy in your machine, the answer was to add some bleech into your machine and do a quick rinse(without clothes), this kills off the bacteria and stops your machine from smelling, also you might want to consider a little less powder if you have a build-up of sludge.

bad smells
I had the same not so long ago, we also had slow draining from the sink, so used a good sink and drain cleaner, and it seemed to fix the bad smell thing to, dont know if that will help?
