The buttons on my Hoover Nextra have fallen back inside the front cover - can I access this to clip it back on or do I need a new part/repair

when my machine was delivered it had this problem but i made them take it back. if its still under warranty, do the same

I don't have this model but had the same problem with my Hoover 1300 AA. I took the front control panel off and saw that the circuit board wasn't screwed down which is why it fell. I could see where the join of the control panel plastic and the main machine was, so it was easy to lift off but maybe you need to look in the manual (or search for one online). Then all you need are two small screws and you're done. Don't buy a new machine!
