after a cold night immobaliser wont switch off have got faint lights on key turn but just no good coz immobaliser stuck on. could this be that theres not enough juice in the battery?

a 1997 cg doesn't have an immobilser unless you have fitted one to it.if the clock light are dim then the battery is funked buy a new one its a yb2.5lc they have on them also a cb2.5lc is the same.

Almost sure it's the battery, buy a new one they don't cost much,cold weather kills battery's when they are old,that's why you see so many cars at the roadside with the AA/rac beside them,it worked ok before,you haven't touched anything and it's gone pear shaped,it's the cold weather.Buy a new battery.
