hi steo you seem quite clued up and give good answers i can tell you are a mechanic do you work in a bike shop?i have been a bike mechanic for 17 years now poor me ;(

lol im flattered :) i think you would be ok as a bike mechanic im going to try and set my own bike shop up next year and i dont care how old a mechanic is its not an issue so if i do and your up for some work ill let you know where abouts do you live as im in milton keynes,cheers mate keep up the good work.p.s im 35

Hi Adam, nah I don't work as a mechanic but I've always worked on my own bikes over the years. I passed a city & guilds in bike mechanics doing a night course but unfortunately bike shops don't want to hire a 44yr old apprentice so my workshop experience on different machines is fairly limited.
I've been a great admirer of yours since I came across this website & I think your answers are shit hot. I just wish I had your brains, experience & got paid for doing something that I love working at.
It can be quite demoralising on this website when you go out of your way to answer folk's questions & you get no thanks but I hope you keep up the good work as I learn from you all the time.....
