Is any service, lubrication necessary?

I was just given an Oster Regency Kitchen Center, model 970-04A. It had been new in 1979, used a couple years, and then boxed up and stored in the garage for 25 years. The book says that all parts are permanently lubricated and never need oil.... however,,, any experience with this? It appears to be in perfect condition, all pieces present with all manuals, a gem of a find. I just dont want to ruin it if it needs to be serviced before use.
