If you are competant with electrics and water then it is fairly straight forward, but a little fiddly. As far as I remember there are no special tools needed, just pozi screw-driver. Get the spare part, turn off & isolate electric supply, loosen the screws that are securing the water tank until you can remove the old device, put the o-ring on the mating part of the new device and assemble into the water tank, secure everything that was loosened and check for leaks.
I would have thought that the spare part may have come with instructions, if not then you could call Triton if you are still unsure.
