Replacing fan oven element on Tricity Bendix BD921W/1?

I need to replace the fan oven element on my Tricity Bendix BD921W/1. I have found the part which I need, but it is hidden by the backing plate which covers the fan. In order to remove the backing plate I must remove 4x Philips screws, I have managed to remove 2 but the other 2 are seized and the screw heads are rounding off.

Is there any way of getting these out apart from drilling them?

today had same problem after much frustation and before drilling try using a nail punch with a small hammer place punch in screw slot so force directed down and left use wd40 about 10mins before short sharp taps and it worked hope it does for you.
