All the lights on my Hotpoint Washing machine keep flashing when I press the on/off button. Because the lights dnot stop flashing, I am unable to press the start button which means the cycle wont start! If anyone knows how to sort this please help!

you will have to open up the machine at the top and take out the circuit board and clean and dry it and make sure everything is tight fitted if it still flashing you will have to buy a new circuit board, I had a washing machine repair man come out and he said that this model is known for being terrible and a new board would cost £90 so i am going to cut my losses and buy a bosch machine as they are known to last longer with less problems, hope this helps
