How do i replace the thermostat on a 1.9 renault kangoo diesel

Hi steray, thanks for the advice. i will 'have a go' later on today. the reason i am changing it is that i seem to be losing water and have been told that it may be the thermostat that is the problem. I have read that it may be more sinister (CHG) i just hope it isnt!Cheers Jim.

hi jim,open your bonnet & looking at the radiator follow the top hose back to the engine,where this hose meets the engine this is the thermostat housing their should be 3 bolts/nuts holding this together remove these bolts/nut's once you remove the top of the housing you should see the thermostat remove old one & re-fit new one then put the housing back tgether in the reverse of taking it apart.
