i need to remove the old one and fit the new one. the old one was smashed off by an on coming car.

First prize the plastic cover on the inside of the door carefully.( easier with the door fully open) Manouvre it over the adjusting handle. Using a screw driver remove the bottom screw first (put your finger under the screw to prevent it from falling between the door panel) Remove screw that is away from the windscreen next and then the remaining screw. Pull the old mirror away.
Before offering up the new mirror - take one of the screws and gently screw about half the length into each plastic leg inthe new mirror housing ( this gives you a starting thread for when you screw the new mirror on).
Offer up the new housing.Fit the screw furthest away from the windscreen first then the other two in any order. Replace the plastic cover. Finished. The whole job takes about 10 minutes.

hi, on another person's post it gives the answer. basically they explained you need to look on the inside of the car where the wing mirror attachs and take off the plastic cover. underneath this you will find the screws that hold the wing mirror on
