John: go to auto zone and get a test key and code key booklet. follow the instructions and run the codes and you will know for sure what you will need to do to fix your vehicle.
Hope this will help you, AND keep those jumper cables off your battery! as a matter of fact throw them away. and get the new modle of jump pack it won't let you hook it up backwards.
