The fault is with the resistor pack, located in passenger footwell under the carpet of the tunnel. You will have to replace it, not exp from scrappy. Can be tight to remove though.

The problem with the heater blower on your car is the rear stat which you will find under the glove box. There is a four wire multi plug going into the rear stat. You might find that the wires have melted/shorted and need repairing and rear stat needs replacing.
1. Unplug multi-plug.
2. Remove screws.
3. Remove rear stat. When you take this out it should look like a big green square resistor. This is your rear stat. You should get this from a Ford dealer for around about £14.
Refit new stat in reverse order, not forgetting to repair wires if necessary.

Replace the heater resistor which is located in the ns footwell just behind the centre console. You may need a wiring repair harness if its burnt out the connections. Loom about £8, resistor about the same.
