My Iveco remote fob doesnt work?

Does any one know what the crack is wiv the 07 35s12 key fobs, iv replaced a battery and Iveco say it needs to be reprogrammed, cant i just press buttons to sync it?????

Hi as far as im aware on the 2008 35 range with central locking and a flick key, i need your electronic key code, then i can re sync your fob via my Iveco diagnostic computer. £85 within London
