If its low on ATF it will slip cold and improve as it expands on warm up. Both forward and reverse are affected. If the filter is restricted it will get worse when hot. Also in Forward and Reverse. Switching off for a few minutes will momentarily work until restricted again.Too much ATF will cause foaming and therefore slip, again when hot. If the filter is clogged the trans is shot.
