When I turn the box on - from the switch at the back side, the only thing I get is a flashing red power light on the front panel. whatever botton I press on the box or the remote control, nothing happens.
This happened suddenly after 2 years or good performance.

hi my tevion hd stb tev8200 Brock , went to change channel and it went funny and Brock down ,i had red light flashing and nothing worked on the stb. i fixed it - it works now this is how i fixed it http://www.instructables.com/id/FIX-A-BROK...VERTER-BOXAPEX/ , i have fixed my hdtv stb ,was not working and i changed 2 capacitors on the power burd on the left hand side and it is working!!!! i have to change 2 more capacitors because i am still getting bad reception .but its working and i am happy!!!! i went to tv repair shop and he wonted $100 + too fix it . lucky i can use a soldering iron and i fund parts at home ,to fix it free lol i changed the other 2 capacitors and it work like brand new again !!!!!!!and i put pc fans in stb boxes too cool it get hot !!!

where do you live i can fix it . i fixed my one . i live in fairfield west sydney . i need a remote control for tevion tev8200 i do not have one.
