Hi, I would like to know how to put a bar and chain on a Husky 288xp? ?
I just purchased this chainsaw used and it was shipped to me with the bar and chain removed. I would like to install the bar and chain but when I removed the 2 bolts that hold the cover, the cover does not come off. Could someone please tell me what else do I need to do to get this cover off after I remove the 2 bolts? Thanks
During transport i guess the chainbrake has come on, you now need to pull the hand guard fully back to the top handle, you should here a click as the brake locks, once done the cover will come off easily.
