Tenants have changed the PIN on an old (10yrs)Wickes hard wired alarm and left without leaving new PIN. I have tried turning off mains power then the battery. Reconnecting mains then battery has still not reset to original default of 1234. HELP please Wickes cannot help.

For Rascal 5 Zone Wickes alarm panel

*switch off power supply
*remove front cover
*disconnect battery back up
*short pins cn6 on top right of circuit board
*switch on supply and reconnect battery
*two tone beep confirms factory reset.
*remove cable short.
*close cover
*unit now reset to factory settings.
