kawasaki 129cc engine won't start?

hi, have a kawasaki ga1000a generator, which wont start.
it seems to be getting fuel, and has a good spark. plug cleaned, gapped, fuel filters cleaned, carb jets blown clear, and a little fresh fuel dropped into the cylinder still won't fire, compression seems good, and exhaust has good pressure, no obvious loose wires.
any ideas welcome

Thanks

Thanks John, I will try that and come back.

Just a thought, but maybe the flywheel key is sheered or partly so. This will alter the ignition timing. You will get good spark but it will not be at TDC (or shortly after TDC) so engine will not run.
