Renault Kangoo 1.5DCI fuel pump problem?

Has anybody ever had a problem with this van of turning off all of a sudden? When the fault does happen the fuel pressure control solenoid will decrease it's voltage to +5v while at normal operation the solenoid will have a +12v. Any help or ideas how to solve this problem?
