18.5 brigs engine I/C ..prob too much compression, no comp release on cam, other than use two head gaskits ?how to repair?I have over 10 years exp. not seen this before
Common fault on these single cylinder engines is for the spring to snap on cam lobe so that it doesn't decompress on compression stroke. Need to replace the whole cam gear which comes as an assembly if this is the case.
