Ka 2005?

Hi, the engine of my KA gets very hot very fast? it dosent seem to bee loosing any water but you can feel the heat from the bonnet once you have parked up? any ideas

Wrong section so have added to the cars section so also look in cars section for further replies.

If the dash indicator reads in hot area ie; very near red zone the thoughts of mine from experience of older cars are thermostat not fully opening or the fan isn't cutting in. Then again if indcator doesn't show hot these engines may be naturally hot.
