Fault on Hygena Cooker Hood APP2400?

When I switch on lights or fans, the lights flash and fans stuggle to operate. I have replaced the front switch pcb and that hasn't resolved the problem. The hood I have is a Hygena model number APP2400 and was manufactured prior to August 2002.

I have a supply from the switch fuse spur going down into the cooker hood, but the display switch and the switch to turn lights and fan on, both are not working. Apparently there are 3 PCB boards in this unit. I can remove the one near the switches, but don't know how to access the other two.
Had assumed the switch to the front had the fault, according to hygena, it could be the other two.Can you help?
