Fridge making a cracking noise (approx) every half hour, water leak collecting under salad draw, icebox temperature above 3 star temp at -15 degrees. Would a call-out be a waste of money? Advice would be much appreciated.

completely defrost appliance.hole at the back sounds blocked.if water is going under the salad draw you need to clear the drain channel.use a piece of flexible hose and blow down drain hole (use bike pump for xtra pressure if needed).Water should go down hole and run on to the top of the compressor at the back.Switch on and retry once blockage cleared.if temperature still incorrect expect bill for £100 repair if you call someone in to fix it.be careful who you call out as not many repairers are qualified to deal with these and will tell you it's knacked just to get a callout fee from you.you have been warned!
