is chip part of 3 button key fob in 2002 ford focus or seperate if part of fob how do i programme to start car

Have you changed the battery?
To reprograme do the following:
1.Switch ignition on/off (11/0)four times within six seconds until a sound is made.
2.Press any button on the remote until a sound is made
3.To programe additional remotes,repeat after two seconds after the sound.
4.Turn ignition on/off to exit.
