Can I use engine oil stop-leak in my Chinese 50cc 4 stroke scooter?

I recently had to replace a CVT transmission belt in my motor scooter due to oil getting on the belt. I had both oil seals replaced and now my oil seals are leaking again. I cannot afford to buy anymore parts for this scooter. I was wandering if it was possible to safely put some oil stop-leak in it to fix the problem, and how much I would have to use?

did you use the original sels for the bike as they are more then likeley rubbish,i would personally use some after market nitrile rubber seals with wiper lips,if you give me the sizes i can get them for about £2 each ,did you fit them yourself?as really they shouldnt leak if they are new but will leak if a monkey has fitted them badly on the piss, the sizes will be on the seals will be something like 20/40/7its i.d then o.d then width.

That oil leak sealer will probably only work where a gasket is weeping a bit & I couldn't imagine it working on major leaks. The rubber seals are worn & need to be replaced, that's the only way out of it.
