whirlpool AWZ 541 condensor dryer start button problems?

Dryer On button makes buzzing noise when pressed and doesn't always stay in. Other times it's fine. Any ideas?????

i had the same problem quite a few times.when u do get it to work do not switch it off on the unit switch it off at the wall socket thats how i got round the problem
