Candy CIC60 not heating up?

My Candy CIC60 is not heating up.
I checked the heating element and that looks OK.
Also on the back I found a Thermistor or Thermostat, this might be the problem, how do I check this and where do I find a replacement ?
Does anyobody have a service manual or so?

Please advice.

There are two small objects on the back of the heating element. One is black and cylindrical the other white and cuboid in shape. Can anyone offer some advice as to what these are, or rather which is which?

It may be that the thermal fuse has gone, it looks a bit like a diode on the end of the heater box.
A new one costs 56p from Maplins and must be crimped on not soldered. Take the old one with you and they will supply the correct replacement. You can find further info on Maplins web site. Good luck.
