Fisher and Paykel GWL15 Drum had dropped over 1"?

Drum has dropped on the washer approx. 1 1/4" and now there are intermittent problems with rinse and spin cycles. What would cause drum to drop and what needs to be done to correct the problem?

Sounds like pump may be overheating. Check drain pump after it has run for a few minutes to see if it is hot to touch. Usually it is just warm. If so then replace it before it damages your control board.

After further testing, the drum comes up when fully emptied of water (never really looked at it before). To get the water all the way out, I have to restart wash cycle, move arrow over to rinse cycle, part of the water will drain out then stop. I then have to shut off the washer, unplug for a few minutes, then start the process over again multiple times to get all the water out. Could this be the start of the pump going bad?

Are you looking at it empty or full of water? Bowl will be lower when full. The only thing that controls the height is the 4 suspension rods. One on each corner. Check the springs at the bottom of the rods. May be broken or weak but that would be very unusual on a fairly new model machine unless you have been overloading it.
