HOTPOINT CONDENSER DRYER TDC 62P DRUM NOT TURN?

MY MACHINE WILL NOT TURN ALTHOUGH IT HEATS UP AND MAKES ALL THE CORRECT SOUNDS AS IF IT WILL START. IT WILL TURN WHEN DONE MANUALLY BUT NOT ON ITS OWN.........ANY IDEAS ANYONE PLEASE?
