Hob removal Belling cooker?

How do I remove the glass hob of my Belling 627 blue electric cooker, please?

TURN OFF THE POWER!
Remove four screws from the rear of the top.
Sometimes it is possible to slide the top back a little way and unhook it from the front latches. These small blocks at each side held by screws from below.
Slackening these enables them to be slid inwards to release the top.
Remove two screws inside the top oven, just inside the lip at each side and pull out the front panel.
This gives access to the screws holding the latches or clamps. Slacken them and slide inwards and remove the top.
As in Haynes, reassembly is the reverse set of actions.
