if the clutch cable is fully stretched, you will need a replacement, if you look under the bonnet on top of the gearbox you will see the end of the cable sat on top of the gearbox connected to the clutch lever, you may be able to pull the cable through a touch and pack ie washers ,rubber block, to tighten the cable an inch, which will allow the clutch to function ,but not recommended .
