Hi Rosheen
Unfortunately you did not mention the make or model of your phone
The example I use here is for the BT Freestyle 3200 and your phone MAY follow a similar route.
1. Press MENU
this puts caller on hold
2. Press up or down arrows until the display shows INTERNAL
3. Press MENU to confirm
4. Enter the Number of the handset you want to call
- the other phone will ring and display your handset number to let the user of the handset know who is calling
5. When the other handset answers
- At this point you should be able to speak with the extension YOU called.
6. Press the release phone symbol ( as though you had finished a call to you)
7. The caller will then be connected to the incoming call
and call continue where you left off.
Try the process to call the other handsets in turn as though it was an INTERCOM then when you are familiar with the process you can try to transfer calls
The idea is that if you can speak to the extension, then you can transfer any calls by using the "End call process" at your handset.
Hope that this helps
Kind regards
