my sum up keeps cutting out as well its been to the garage to have this hole put in it but it still cuts out at roundabouts can you tell me if anything else can be done thanks for your help

in relation to chris stack's query, i too am having similar probs 8000 on the clock!!! however, i do know that to improve scooter performance you can get new exhaust or different tyres, using superplus petrol won't make an inch of difference.

you can also change the rollers on your variator, but i don't now too much about this... in other words get an haynes manual!!!

i dont think you will get anymore than 60mph out of it to be honest mate,they are built for reliability and economy not speed,it sounds like a carb problem have you had the tickover adjusted right?and where did they make a hole ?and i would get the valve clearances checked too they suffer from them tightening up especailly on the exhaust tappet.and this causes low compression and running problems.ok let me know how it goes

yes its a new peugoet 125cc four stroke and it cuts out in the cold and damp when i slow down at roundabouts. It has had a hole cut in it so to keep the carb warm with hot air from the engine as the peugoet dealer told me this would fix my problem but still no joy also do you know if there is anything i can do to make it go faster as it will only do 60mph. Its 4 months old and done two thousand miles

whats a sum up again is it a new peugeot?,i do recall its launch but forgot what make it is,i think its made in taiwan for peugeot ?is it a 50 or 125cc and i take it its four stroke ?
