My Hotpoint ultima WF840 is displaying F08 on the digital screen and does not work. Can u tell me what it means and can it be fixed.

i also have a hotpoint wf 840 it arived today, on the first wash attempt, we got h20..this is a water fault, we checked everything , all ok..but still filling and emptying at same time..switched off, then on again, and got f-08, called hotpoint service and was told this was a heater relay fault, being 1 hour old i asked to have the thing swaped asap or next day at the latest, hotpoint said that the customer service dept would call me back within 48 hours!!, funny thing was i was speaking to the service dept at the time...very arogent lady says, we cant swap it until we call back within 48 hours...i reply you are not listening i require my machine changed within 24 hours not a stall call in 48 hours.or i require my money back and you can push this where the sun dont shine..lady says you
are very ignorant we shall call back in 48 hours......i slam down the phone , call the store, who instantly refunded my money and i ordered a zanusi machine.....hotpoint service sucks even more than their cr*p machines.....avoid them or be treated like soiled laundry!!

Sorry no answer to your Q. Same here got a F-05 code? on my Hotpoint WT741 model. Can someone at hotpoint AKA indesit! get a blog going. Support is zero for these digital machines!

Hey I got a Hotpoint - WT741 - 1400 spin Ultima - less than 2 days old same problem - cr*p machine - yes it's going back - s*d the call out.

F-08 is a heater relay problem . would require a new power board which would require programming . Would contact Hotpoint direct to sort the problem.
