Speedo has stopped working!!?

I Have a 98 (s reg) clio rxe. The speedo has stopped working and no one seems to know how to fix it.....any ideas?

sounds like the speedo cable, nightmare to fit as you may need to remove the dashboard. get it sorted tho if you value your licence.
