Clean your filters first (look at the bottom of the machine for an acess cover or check your manual) and be prepared for a flood when you open it: so put old towels down...get rid of the fluff, pennies and chewing gum...THEN put the machine on a hot wash high spin cycle with some old fashioned washing soda in the detergent compartment and let her run..or buy a pack of appliance descaler and run this through instead of the soda..hope this helps!
