My dryer won't heat up, Ive cleaned the filter but this didn't make any difference. Any ideas?

you will find that it is the toc on the heater these come in a set of two and take 2 minutes to change they are available on ebay for seven pounds

unplug the dryer, on the back is the housing for the element, unscrew this and u'll see the elements attached to it.
unscrew them from the housing and look at the back of the two thermostats (silver bout size if 5p's) one of them will have a small hole in the back near where the wires connect, get a toothpick or something n gently push it in the hole until u hear a click. then screw it all together again n bobs ur uncle, should work now. just needed thermostat reseting :-)

If its a condenser type you need to regularly remove and clean the condenser unit ( a shower spray or garden hose is usefull and quick) as well as the lint filter so I was wondering whether you had done this ? silly question but is the water tank now full and unemptied.
