My Whitenight Gas tumble dryer will not heat up?

I have an idea the problem is the thermostat, however i cannot find anyone who will repair Gas tumble dryer's, HELP!!!

Does the gas come on then go off after about a minuite when you first switch on???. If so the problem is probably the thermocouple in the gas burner "box"

Rachel, I just this morning opened up my dryer, the filter light was on, which I thought was the cause of my dryer not heating up. However, I also think it might be the thermostat.

I am not sure what the thermostat would be or what it looks like.
