I was in error on my previous question about an LE error on my LG WM2487HRM washer. The error is actually an inverted F and E. This is indicating a problem with the Thermistor. Can I assume it is the thermistor or could it be something else causing the same error?
I started getting the error inverted F and E Thermistor error on my 2487hrm shortly after increasing the water temp on my water heater. We had never seen this error before my adjustment. I am going to try turning down the water and see if the error goes away.

"tE" Error (Thermistor Error)
The thermistor monitors water temperature.
In most cases the cause of this error is due to a broken wire at the thermistor which is located at the bottom/front of the tub.
It is rare for a thermistor itself to be at fault--although I've seen *one* that was a "dud" straight out of the box new.
The next most likely cause would be a loose plug connection either at the thermistor or at the main power board.

Can also be caused if incoming water is too hot, hoses are on wrong inlet valves or a fault in the PCB.
